Larry Kerr, President 

Larry Kerr has been the driving force behind EBE’s business process management initiatives for the past twenty years. Throughout his career at EBE, Larry has been involved in all aspects of the business including sales, marketing, system design and project management. As the company matured, it became known as a systems integrator. Larry then led the transformation of EBE to its current form as the leading provider of enterprise business process management solutions for the trucking and logistics industry. His close client relationships and industry knowledge have served the company well as they have provided the insight to develop the most efficient workflow processes to reduce bottlenecks and improve operational efficiencies.  

Larry holds a masters degree in Business from St. Louis University and a bachelor’s degree in Business and History from St. Ambrose University.

 

Cindy Nelson, CTP, VP, Marketing and Business Development  

As VP of Marketing and Business Development, Cindy Nelson provides the strategic sales and marketing direction for the company and manages all the marketing, communications and industry and public relations activities for EBE. She also serves as the General Manager for the Driver Management Solutions Group including recruiting, driver performance, CSA and safety and compliance applications. Cindy is an active participant in industry associations including American Trucking Association (ATA), Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) and National Private Truck Council (NPTC) where she earned her Certified Transportation Professional accreditation.

Cindy has 20 years of senior-level management experience in sales and marketing for Fortune 500 and mid-size technology companies bringing strong expertise in brand management. Prior to EBE, she spent three years at TMW Systems as Director of Marketing where she took the company to unprecedented brand awareness levels. She also served as Director of Sales, Marketing and Communications for various technology, web-development and IT consulting firms.

Cindy is a graduate of Miami University with B.S. degrees in Marketing and Management. She is a member of the ATA’s Safety Management Council and Information Technology Leadership Council as well as the National NPTC Safety Council.

 

 Linda KeagDirector, Professional Services  

As Director of Professional Services, Linda leads EBE's implementation and support organizations. In her role, she provides the oversight and guidance to EBE's support organization to ensure a positive client experience in the areas of customer service, implementation and training. With more than 15 years of senior management experience in the technology industry, Linda has dedicated her career to improving processes and providing internal and external support to help streamline the implementation of software solutions. Prior to joining EBE, over a sixteen year period at GenSoft a Billing Software company, Linda served as programming manager, product design, IT manager, customer service manager, account manager and overall VP of the organization. Linda also holds a degree in Computer Information - Programming. 

 

Steven SchauerDirector, Development  

Steven Schauer has been with EBE for thirteen years managing development for the SHIPS transportation software. He is responsible for insuring the interoperability of all business process modules and data integrity. Steve has direct responsibility for the SHIPS .NET migrations and third party integrations. Steve is also accountable for evaluating emerging technologies and solutions and determining their role within the SHIPS product line.

 

Rob Deckard, VP Sales, Financial Solutions

Rob Deckard joined EBE in 2000, commensurate with the first SHIPS installation. Prior to EBE, Rob spent 10 years as a successful sales executive in the recruiting and financial services industries. His leadership and experience has been instrumental in growing the SHIPS customer base to nearly 550 transportation companies. Rob currently directs all sales activities for the financials and logistics solutions sales group.
